We had a fabulous evening celebrating and learning about the 13 local organizations that – thanks to the generosity of Seeds of Joy members – have received $140,000 in financial support over the last three years! Members and guests got the chance to talk with representatives, furthering connections and even finding new ones! It was a great opportunity to unite with Christian women in Kansas City who want to make a difference together with their time, talents, and treasure. We were also blessed to have The Signatry and National Christian Foundation available to talk about ways to manage gifting and understanding resources like donor advised funds.

Our Summer Social was the perfect Girls Night Out! We enjoyed a beautiful evening on the rooftop patio of Compass Realty (thanks to Shannon Brimacombe!) with delicious treats and drinks. AND yummy ice cream from our sweet friends at The Golden Scoop! We also had the chance to hear more about Single Mom KC. They were one of our recent grant recipients and provide a wonderful “Clothed with Dignity” boutique to serve local single moms. Thanks to the generosity of our guests, we filled two cars full of needed items for their toiletry collection.

What an incredible night celebrating our largest grant amount ever! We heard from FIVE amazing organizations who are each serving a unique population in our community and doing so with the love, grace and generosity of Jesus! Thanks to the donations from our members, we granted a total of $65,000! What a beautiful impact the donations are making in the lives of our Kansas City neighbors.

Winter Social – We had a great evening together – enjoying sweet treats, warm drinks, and meeting new friends! We also used the evening to collect needed items for some of our grant recipients.
