Thank you for your interest in applying for a grant from Seeds of Joy! Our hope is that these grants not only fulfill a financial need, but also create awareness of your organization’s mission, leading to future engagement by our members.
Before submitting the grant application, please review our Mission Statement and Statement of Faith. It is important to Seeds of Joy that we are supporting organizations who share our values.
GRANT APPLICATION REQUIREMENTS
- Read and acknowledge the Seeds of Joy Mission Statement and Statement of Faith
- Provide copy of IRS 501(c)(3) Tax Letter
- Have not received a grant from Seeds of Joy in the past
3 years - Agree to allow Seeds of Joy to participate in a site visit of your organization or interview with your Executive team
- Commit to sending a representative from your organization to the Spring Gathering, if you become an awards recipient
- Grant funds must be used to directly support the local Kansas City community
- Special consideration will be given to organizations who have opportunities for Seeds of Joy members to get involved in their mission
GRANT CALENDAR
August 1, 2025 – Grant applications open for Spring 2026
December 1, 2025 – Grant applications due for Spring 2026
Jan/Feb 2026 – Grant application reviews and site visits
March 2026 – Grant finalist(s) notified
April 2026 – Spring Gathering
