DONATIONS

How do I make a one-time donation in honor or memory of someone?
Use the link on our Donate page.  To ensure proper attribution, please include a note or email us at seedsofjoykc@gmail.com

Can I make a donation from my personal Donor Advised Fund at The Signatry?
There is a very simple process for Signatry fund holders to follow in terms of requesting a fund to fund transfer from their Signatry DAF to The Seeds of Joy Fund. If you are logged in to the donor platform, you will see a menu bar to the left hand side of the screen. Click on the fund name, then on Transfers.

From the Transfers screen, you would select + New Transfer at the top right. It will reflect the fund where the money will be transferring out of, and you would then select Other under the Transfer To option. The fund holder can enter the Fund Name (The Seeds of Joy Fund) and/or Fund ID (2516622).

Enter the amount of the transfer, and click Submit. The Signatry Donor Care team will review the request and connect it to the appropriate fund. It can take several business days for the funds to be moved.

GRANTS

What if I have a specific question about the Grant Application?
Contact us at seedsofjoy.grants@gmail.com

How long is the Grant Application open?
The Grant Application opens August 1 and closes December 1. Following site visits and vetting, grant winner(s) are awarded at our Spring Gathering.

Are churches and schools eligible for a SOJ grant?
Our goal is to provide support and visibility to organizations that are not part of a specific church or school.

What if I need to pause my grant application and finish it later?
Autosave your response progress by clicking on the icon (cloud in the upper right) in the Google form.

When you fill out a Google Form in your Google account, your progress is automatically saved as a draft for 30 days. This means if you can’t complete a form or need to switch devices, you don’t have to start over the next time you open the form. To find a draft response for a form, reopen the form URL in the same Google Account you used to create the draft. Important: If you’re offline, autosave doesn’t work.

MEDIA / APPEARANCES

How can I have someone from Seeds of Joy speak with my organization?
Please contact us at seedsofjoykc@gmail.com and let us know the date and what the appearance would involve.

MEMBERSHIP

What is the difference between the levels of giving?
The only difference is in the donation amount ($250, $500 or $1000). We simply want to provide options that can accommodate different personal budgets.

I’m not sure if my Membership Form went through?
You should have received an email confirmation indicating your form was submitted properly. If not, just send us a message and we can double check. seedsofjoykc@gmail.com

COMMITTEES

How do I volunteer with one of the committees?
All of our Committees are listed on the About page. Just send us a message with your area of interest or any specific questions about committee roles. seedsofjoykc@gmail.com
