OUR VISION
Our vision is to proclaim the joy of giving and to motivate followers of Jesus Christ toward greater Biblical generosity. We strive to make a difference by contributing time, talent and monetary resources while also broadening awareness of the needs in our community. Out of gratitude for Christ’s gift of love for us, we endeavor to manage God’s resources with faithfulness and integrity as we encourage the hearts and minds of God’s women to become generous givers.
OUR STATEMENT OF FAITH
As a Christ-centered organization, we believe that Jesus Christ is the Son of God and we trust Him as our Lord and Savior. – Romans 10:9
We believe that we honor Jesus Christ by serving together, united by the Holy Spirit as members of His one Body. – 1 Corinthians 12:12-13
We believe that we honor Jesus Christ as we invest in His Kingdom the resources He has entrusted to us. – Matthew 25:14-30
We believe in the Bible as the ultimate authority for our decisions. – 2 Timothy 3:16-17
We believe in prayer and the Bible as the means by which we seek and receive guidance.

Seeds of Joy – Our History

This is a bit of my story that led to the Seeds of Joy story—which we hope will become part of your story! While growing up in a Christian home, I observed my parents always serving others, generous with their time. Then as I got older, people like my husband expanded my view of the financial aspect of giving. With these seeds of serving and giving planted in my life, God began to grow my understanding of Biblical generosity. I’ve learned that when generosity changes from something we do to how we live our lives, our generosity journey becomes a joy-filled adventure!
In 2012, I began serving on the Board at the National Christian Foundation-Heartland (now The Signatry). One day, Bill High (then President of NCF) said to me, “You should start a women’s giving circle.” Then he explained more about one that had been started in Atlanta. While I loved the idea, the timing was not right. Then in 2019, God used an event we planned for women concerning generosity and family legacy as a springboard for what would become the Seeds of Joy Women’s Giving Circle. Three women emerged from the 2019 event—Samantha Moore, Alissa Rieth and Debbie Green—with hearts to step out in faith and become part of this new adventure. God in His wisdom and kindness, brought four women together who longed to live out their faith and calling through generosity. By early 2022, Seeds of Joy had taken root!
