Thank you for your interest in becoming a Seeds of Joy member.

Seeds of Joy members are united in our desire to impact the greater Kansas City community with the gifts God has graciously bestowed on us. It is our hope that all of our participants will experience the joy that flows from generously sharing our time, talent, and financial resources.

As a member you will be able to choose your level of involvement in Seeds of Joy. You are encouraged to participate in as many ways as possible, including event attendance, site visits, committee service and engagement with our partnering organizations as you feel led. While there are many areas in which to serve, Seeds of Joy members’ only obligations are to commit to making their annual contribution and meeting the age requirement of 25 or older.

MEMBER COMMITMENTS

Accept the Seeds of Joy Statement of Faith.
Commit to donate at one of the Membership Levels annually to the Seeds of Joy donor advised fund.
Participate in Seeds of Joy events and site visits, if possible.
Volunteer on at least one committee during your engagement with us, if time allows.
Accept that Seeds of Joy Grant Committee members are responsible for the selection and awarding of grants based on careful review of grant applications submitted by organizations and site visits completed by members.

MEMBERSHIP LEVELS

When selecting your commitment level, please note that there are no membership differences based on your contribution. The options exist to accommodate a variety of personal budgets.

$1,000
Members in this group contribute $1,000 per year to be awarded to vetted grant recipients.

$500
Members in this group contribute $500
per year to be awarded to vetted grant recipients.

$250
This level is designed specifically for Members age 35 and under. Members in this group contribute $250 per year to be awarded to vetted grant recipients.

CONTRIBUTIONS

All contributions are tax-deductible and must be made to the Seeds of Joy donor advised fund account at The Signatry. A donor advised fund is a charitable giving vehicle administered by a public charity (i.e., The Signatry) created to manage charitable donations on behalf of organizations, families or individuals.
